During Sunday's service there appeared to be a burning smell. During the afternoon our churchwarden discovered a small fire had broken out where our central heater comes through the wall. The fire
brigade responded immediately and put out the fire. Luckily it was still very small and caught early and so damage is minimal. The church is safe thanks to Gill, the Firemen and God. We are still
investigating the cause and our next steps. Unfortunately until we can be assured of the church's safety the heating is out of action. Ken has been in touch with the hall users and informed them of
the situation. We ask for patience and support at this time. Currently no services are effected and will still go ahead.
We have a vaccancy for an organist.
